About Punggol Beach. .. .
During Sook Ching massacre (Chinese: 肅清大屠殺) in world war 2 , the japanese had used it as an execution sites for the identified hostile Chinese.

After world war 2,it had develpoped into a place buzzling with seafood restarants. Plantation , pigs and fish farms also exisit there before most are being "chased away" by the Government to make way for the civilisation.

These seafood restaraunt most relocated at Marina country club .
Punggol beach is currently on going construction as part of Government's Park Connector Network Programme to link all the parks in Singapore together.
